No matter if you want to treat yourself, your best friend, your girlfriend or your wife, you can't go wrong with these fashionable picks:

1) J. Crew statement necklaces are a great gift for any fashion lover,  especially because there are so many different styles to chsose from.
Tip: Try Etsy for a wallet friendly alternative.

2) Who doesn't love a sparkly sweater?

3) This leather skirt might not be for everyone, but that's what makes it perfect for some.

4) Everybody needs a warm parka, and this Gap one comes in two adorable designs.

5) A little black bag is a great staple, a little black Marc Jacobs bag is the way to any Fashionista's heart.

6) These Zara flats are cute, comfy, and on sale.

Happy shopping!

Cozy Pastels

This week's IFB Project was about pastels,  which isn't exactly my favorite color group, unless...

pastel perfect

...we're talking about a pastel accessory. Hats, scarves, gloves, bags... anything that adds a girly touch to my parka.

The trick with pastels in the colder months is to choose things with a thicker texture, leave the chiffon in your closet and go for big knits, leather or suede.

Round and Round the Garden...

It's Garden Life Weekend, aka my favorite weekend of the year. And as every year the dresscoat  calls for florals and shoes you don't mind ruining. Here's some inspiration:

Look 1:

Wearing a pair of brand new yellow shoes to a garden festival seems crazy, but after getting caught in a storm when I wore them for the first time last week I found out that there's nothing these babies can't take.

Parka: Burberry Brit (similar here)
Dress: H&M (similar here and here)
Shoes: Gap

Look 2:

This proves once again that a good jacket can fix everything. Even worn out Converse and an ancient H&M children's dress.

Jacket: Burberry Brit (similar here)
Dress: H&M (similar here)
Hat: H&M (similar here)
Necklace: ASOS
Shoes: Converse

Look 3:

And my favorite, by day three Wellies are a must if you don't want to lose a shoe in the mud.

Sweater: H&M (sold out online but still available in stores)
Shorts: H&M
Wellies: Hunter

Which one is your fave?

Look of the Irish

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! I may not be Irish but I do love the color green, even though it is not always easy to pull of (even for a green eyed blonde like myself). But one thing you can never go wrong with are green shoes and accessories. And then there's the option of simply throwing on a green trench over your favorite jeans and t-shirt combo...
What's your favorite way to wear green?

Step into Spring

I'm done! Done with winter that is, and after 3 months of snow boots I can't wait to step into flats, oxfords, and cute sneakers...

The oxfords are my favorite out of the bunch (and already waiting in my shoe closet), but I definitely wouldn't mind the Hunters (bad weather flats? Brilliant!), and the bunny flats are obviously the perfect Easter shoe, and well you can never have enough cool sneakers - or leopard for that matter.
